BMEA Named a Recipient of United Way for Southeastern Michigan’s Racial Equity Fund

Black Male Educators Alliance is proud to be in the 2023 Cohort of Racial Equity Fund recipients by United Way for Southeastern Michigan!

The Racial Equity Fund endeavors to provide financial support in the form of flexible, unrestricted and general operating grants with the intention of prioritizing funding solutions by leaders who are in close proximity to the opportunity/need the organization is trying to address.

This generous grant award will support the work BMEA engages in with schools and educators to create liberated and intellectually stimulating environments for Black students.

We are thankful to The United Way for Southeastern Michigan for their commitment to supporting us in our mission!
