Dear BMEA Supporter,
Our mission is about more than education. It is about transformation, resilience, and growth. It’s about shaping a better future for Black and Brown children and honoring the remarkable educators who make that future possible. You, our unwavering supporters, play an invaluable role in that mission.
Every day, we are humbled by the generous contributions of individuals and organizations who share our commitment to education and equity. Your support empowers us to advance our work in countless ways – from fostering the development of Black male and female educators early in their careers to expanding the national reach of our fellowships that train and enhance leaders in education and wellness.
Our bi-weekly BMEA podcast, which offers informative programming on the challenges and triumphs in our field, and our K-12 Intergenerational Leadership Development program, which creates a pipeline for young Black males to enter the education profession, are just two examples of the initiatives made possible through your kindness and dedication.
While our recent gala was a celebration of our collective achievements and a recognition of champions in education, our work is continuous. We strive every day to transform the education landscape, to create more inclusive, supportive school communities for every Black and Brown child in our country. And we couldn’t do it without you.
Your trust, partnership, and belief in our vision are a constant source of inspiration and motivation. We are profoundly grateful for your ongoing support. As we continue on this journey together, please know that your contributions are making a real, tangible difference in the lives of educators and students alike.
Thank you for entrusting us with the responsibility of making a positive impact on education. We are honored to work alongside you in this mission.
Yours in Commitment,
Curtis L. Lewis, Ph.D.
