Eastern Michigan University’s College of Education Honors Dr. Curtis Lewis

This week, Eastern Michigan University’s College of Education recognized and honor BMEA’s Founder & CEO, Dr. Curtis Lewis, as one of their “Black Figures in Academia”.

Their posts included the following statement regarding Dr. Lewis’ contributions to the field of education:

“This week, we continue to celebrate Black History Month by highlighting history being made today by Dr. Curtis Lewis. His dedication to the development of Black male educators is changing the world around us, and his effort is not going unnoticed.”

We thank EMU’s College of Education for their recognization of the great work that continues to be done by our dynamic leader, Dr. Lewis!
