Jonah Anderson is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in both public health and financial service industries, with a specific emphasis on community and economic development.
After completing his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, Jonah began his career in nonprofit work in the Chicagoland area, managing community-level programming designed to improve the social determinants of community health. Lessons learned through community-level service eventually compelled Jonah to transition his focus to the advancement of economic sustainability — serving in financial literacy, advisory, and business banking roles with leading financial institutions such as Northwestern Mutual, Merrill Lynch, and Bank of America.
In his current role as a Business Banker, Jonah works closely with his clients to understand their unique needs and desired outcomes. He then provides customized financial solutions, including assorted lending, credit, cash management, merchant, and investment services, to help his clients achieve their personal and professional financial objectives.
Jonah’s commitment to individual and community health remains central to his work, serving as an Executive Board Member for Diversity Uplifts Inc., as well as active membership with the Thapelo Institute and the Illinois Housing Council. He holds his Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, Series 63, and Series 66 licenses through FINRA and Life, Accident, and Insurance licenses with the State of Illinois. He is known among his colleagues and clients for his professionalism, integrity, and dedication to exceptionalism.
In his free time, Jonah enjoys late-night gym sessions, meditation, reading, and spending time with his family.
