The Way Forward Ep 2 – Navigating Leadership As A Black Woman

In the first half of the show, we discuss the various aspects of Teacher Burnout. In this conversation with Ms. Silver Moore, we will identify what is teacher burnout, ways to mitigate the feeling, and ultimately ideate concrete ideas that schools and school systems can take to relieve the stress that comes with being a teacher.

Transitioning into the second half, we welcome a special guest, Ms. DJ Cherif, an educational leader and consultant. Together, we tackle the crucial issue of stressors faced by Black Women in education leadership. Inspired by recent news highlighting the tragic consequences of workplace bullying, we delve into the unique challenges these women encounter and explore avenues for creating a more supportive and inclusive educational environment.
